204 Grand Ave. on the North side of the Square.
The Pizza Palace is owned and operated by Darrell and Sandy Fischer and strives to provide a family atmosphere for dining, does not serve alcohol and is a smoke-free environment. There is a large game room located in the rear of the building with a pool table and video games with some seating. This is a favorite with the local young people who primarily occupy this area. The Pizza Palace does a tremendous carry-out business and offers a noon buffet and a Thursday night buffet. They have a large salad bar and offer many types of pizza, breadsticks and appetizers such as nachos and hot wings.
The Pizza Palace is a strong supporter of the area schools. The business helps sponsor many events and holds pizza parties for events such as the Accelerated Reader Program and classroom contests. The Pizza Palace sponsors a women's softball team in the summer and provides pizza for organizational fund-raisers in the area. They offer a birthday party promotion at the Pizza Palace complete with balloons and party favors and it's a favorite luncheon spot for small clubs and groups.
"Customer satisfaction is the number one priority at the Pizza Palace" states Sandy. "We try to accommodate people's taste preferences and make our pizza to please the consumer. We have put together just about every pizza combination imaginable, even a "no cheese" pizza, but we don't do anchovies."
