Beutler Name Synonymous
With Great Rodeo Stock

Returning to Nebraska's Big Rodeo for over 50 years to provide top rodeo stock will be Beutler & Son Rodeo Company, managed by Bennie & Rhett Beutler. The company calls Elk City, OK home. Longtime PRCA stock contractor Bennie Beutler and his son, Rhett, joined forces in 2001 to form the Beutler and Son Rodeo Company, It had formerly been known as Beutler and Gaylord Rodeo Company, from 1989 to 2001. The Beutler name has been synonymous with the stock contracting business since 1929. Bennie's grandfather, Elra, and his great-uncles, Jake and Lynn, began supplying stock to Oklahoma and Texas rodeos more than 70 years ago. Bennie was named PRCA Stock Contractor of the Year in 1997 and is currently serving as Stock Contractor Director on the PRCA board. Bennie's sister, Vickie Shireman, handles the rodeo secretarial duties.

Broncs like Surefoot Sue, Happy Howard and Copenhagen Commotion have appeared in Nebraska's Big Rodeo's arena and the arena of the NFR in Las Vegas. Copenhagen Commotion was also chosen as bareback horse of the year in 1973 and Black Out as bull of the year in 2000.
